Grimsley High School offers higher educational services. It offers honors, international baccalaureate courses and college technical preparatory programs. It offers honors courses in English, mathematics, science, social studies, music, art and foreign language. The Whirlie Boosters Club was organized to support the athletic programs at Grimsley High School through financial assistance and encouragement. The school also provides guidance and counseling services to assist students with the day-to-day adjustments to school, to evaluate interests and aptitudes, plan for the future through continuing education beyond high school and seek employment after high school. Its media center provides more than 18,000 books and materials to support the school's curriculum and promote student reading.
