My 92 year old mother made an appointment for all 3 of her children to sit down and review her final wishes. She had not reviewed or updated it since my dad passed away 5-years ago. We made this appointment 2-3 weeks in advance to allow for me to take a day off from work and travel from Spokane to Grandview to meet with him with all of the family. The appointment was Monday at 1:30. We received a call at 9:00 AM on Monday morning, 4-hours before the appointment telling us that the appointment was cancelled and that he had to be in court. Now I get that such an all important job will have these things happen but I do not believe that he found out that he had to go to court on Monday morning. He knew on Friday. I wasted a day of my vacation, drove 3 hours, got a house sitter only to be told 4 hours ahead that I would have to reschedule. I am a director of a manufacturing operation responsible for two plants and over 200 employees but I guess my time means nothing and the courtesy of calling on Friday or even Saturday was not considered. And the office knew the situation. If it were up to me I would never use such an unprofessional, inconsiderate establishment. However, my mother is very loyal and my dad trusted this place so I will be forced to honor her choice. But any of you reading this have a choice and I would not recommend this establishment.
