The Crest Apartments

If there was an option for zero stars I would choose that.Take it from me, because I've lived here since October of last year and am counting the days until my lease is over for me to leave . .It's been one thing after another at this place, which if you take away the Manager Betty, would actually not be so bad to live at. If you've taken the time to read other reviews on the internet, you'll read the same thing over and over, Betty the Apartment Manager is the Devil, she's horrible,dreadful,ridiculous, etc . .You get the idea? When I first was lookin for an apartment I overlooked all that, I thought, "Well how bad could she be?" Plus I was trying to leave a somewhat abusive relationship at the time, I couldn't afford moving anyplace else at the moment. The crest was offering no deposit and just first months rent after all. . .If I could take back time though, no lie, no BS because I'm incapable of it ;), I would have WaITeD to SAVE UP MONEY to rent somewhere else had I known how it was going to be living here. My car was towed within a week of move in, what with all the drama of leaving the former bf, getting things situated, the least of my worries was a StIcKeR on my car. Why do they ask you to write down your car's info if they're going to tow it anyway? Not to mention just feeling uncomfortable living here because everyone is on their toes around here like Betty is the strict jailhouse master or something. You shouldnt have to feel that way where you live. And now I'm being threatened with being kicked out, why? Not because I'm disruptive or obnoxious mind you, I'm at work more than I'm at home, I just come home to sleep, on my days off I spend them elsewhere . .but for some reason Betty has found it a problem that she found out my little brother staying with me? Uhm . .Why? Cause he's not on the lease, really? He's hardly ever here either, goes to school in the AM, here for a total of 3 hours in the afternoon and goes to work in the night, and oh yeah, he comes to sleep for a whopping 5 hours too. Needless to say we're BOTH hardly ever here and she has for some reason made it her mission to make my life and my brother's miserable. Let me tell you something, the last complex I lived in had the same rules, and for some reason was fine with me having my boyfriend live with me without him being on the lease, hell, the office staff even helped me get approved KNOWING he was going to be living with me. I figure, some rules in the lease are put there to be enforced when certain tenants in those situations become a problem, not there for you to enforce on people who otherwise don't cause you any problems because you wouldnt even know they live there what with the little time they actually spend there, AND I PAY MY RENT ON TIME. WTF????? If you're still reading, and looking for an apartment, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!
