Fountain Pointe Apartments

When I moved out 2 months early I went into the office with $1200 to pay my lease off in full. I told them I had moved out and and that it would be available as scheduled. And I'd just hold on to the key until the end of may. The office manager told me they had someone to rent my apt immediately and If I turned in my keys NOW I could get the electrical out of my name and start the deposit refund earlier. Since I paid in pull I was lead to believe that there would be no penalty so why not turn them in? So I turned in my keys and preceded to wait the 30 days required to process. after 30 days I received a BILL outlining the details of how I TERMINATED my lease early, thereby voiding my first month free credit. Why on earth would I had done this? All I needed to do was sit on the empty APT for another month and a half and turn in the keys then. I was trying to be nice, and allow them to rent the apt out.

Office manager had a terrible attitude and acted like no one was good enough to live in these apartments. She constantly kept saying to me that they do background checks on all residents, at least 4 times, and just treated me like I had no business being there and was wasting her time. Broke federal law by attempting to interfere with a USPS package delivery, only relenting when threatened with the police. For a place that performs background checks it is funny that I smell drugs every time I walk in a building. The security doors had clearly been broken into on many of the buildings and cheaply repaired. All of the windows are outdated and will leave you freezing in the winter and baking in the summer due to lack of insulation or weather stripping. The shower will randomly scald you and then go completely cold. There are much better apartments for the price, that will treat you 1000% better. They act like this is the Beverly Hills of GB but its more like the projects.

Worst place ever, Management has no concern for Tenants



Was a stellar tenant I thought, always paid rent on time, did not disturb neighbors, did nothing to warrant their decision



to not renew lease without any reason. We had to really scramble to find another place at such short notice. Worst mistake



ever picking this place. Would sue for discrimination , moving costs and duress if was not so costly. Can not believe



rental business is so ruthless. We downsized, sold our house and moved over here because of job, wish we would had stayed



now.

I have lived at Fountain Pointe Apartments for several years and have really liked it here. The maintenance is prompt, the office staff is friendly and the grounds are well kept. There are sidewalks and mature trees throughout the community and a pond with benches and a fountain. I have had several friends and relatives move into Fountain Pointe after seeing my large apartment and they are very happy here as well. There are great ammenities such as a pool, saunas, fitness center and pool tables. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone and have.
