Merry Maids

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.



We recently had merry maids come to our home. I received a phone call two hours into the job stating they had been there for three hours and I would be required to pay additional for any work that was done. When I corrected them on the time I was met with an argument. she eventually realized that she had only been there for two hours but had also informed me that she had already packed all of her cleaning supplies up. When I had returned home that evening none of the things outlined to be completed were done to their entirely. There was still dust all along our baseboards and areas of the hardwood floor that were flat out missed. In addition the kitchen cabinets still had a bunch of soap stains on them. ,y entire experience with this company was terrible. The owner was extremely rude on the phone. I ended up having to pay for two of the hours much to my disagreement. Just an all around poor experience. There are many other companies out there that I would try over them

We are a military family and was recently re-stationed and we had to move from our house in Hatboro. We decided to rent out the house and when we made that decision we decided to have "professionals" come in to clean it for our tenants. I called the Glenside office and they came out and did a HORRIBLE job. I expected to come into a shiney, good smelling home when I came to check on it a few days later and boy was I wrong. It looked like they cleaned the whole house with dirty water, never changing the buckets. They didn't complete the requests I had made (such as the oven and refridgerator) and when questioned on it the owner told me I didn't ask them to do that. I know for a fact I did. She came up with a million excuses and blammed it on me for not getting up to the house (that we no longer live in) the next day to see it. I had to purchase cleaning supplies and complete it myself yesterday so that my tenants didn't move in to a messy house. My neighbor told me that they were only there maybe 45 minutes, and they charge a 2 hour minimum, so during that time I would have expected much more. The "professional job" they did was terrible and the owners attitude, Karen, was even worse. To top it off each location is privately owned and operated so when I called corporate to complain there was little they can do! I would NOT recommend this location or company to anyone....HORRIBLE experience!
