Micon Inc. was founded in 1994 by Terry Knittle and was Incorporated in Canfield OH. Micon Inc. is a family owned and operated UNION contractor. Terry first got into the Mechanical Insulation trade as a UNION apprentice in 1970. Terry was no stranger to the Insulation industry back then as his father was also a UNION Insulation worker his entire life. In 2000 his son Larry Graduated from The Ohio State University and joined the team making it a 2nd generation business. In 2012 Larry took over the business and moved the location of the offices and warehouse to Girard OH. Being a family owned business we are sympathetic of the needs of our clients and strive to meet and exceed all of your expectations. We are small enough to give you the hometown customer service you would not get from a giant corporation, yet big enough to take on just about any project. Micon Inc. has a proven track record for quality mechanical insulation construction and given the opportunity will show you how we can meet all of your insulation needs. Micon Inc. is a Commercial Mechanical Insulation Contractor specializing in commercial & industrial pipe, duct, tanks, equipment and process piping insulation. Even though Micon Inc. is located in Girard OH they service surrounding area's also such as akron, cleveland, canton, pittsburgh, new castle, alliance and all other area's in eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
