LifeSouth Community Blood Centers serves the needs of local hospitals in Florida, Georgia and Alabama. The organization maintains more than 25 donor centers and over 35 mobile vehicles. It operates advisory councils that assist the center in serving the local community. LifeSouth Community Blood Centers coordinates various blood collection and outreach programs. The organization is a charter member of the National Marrow Donor Program. It also conducts research in the fields of blood collection and transfusion. In addition, the organization provides a variety of hospital and laboratory services. LifeSouth Community Blood Centers conducts various research and educational activities. The organization s Five Point of Life program includes awareness, educational and fundraising camps.

Love to donate platelets and blood at this location, staff is welcoming and experienced in the field of blood collections. This is a great way to support our local hospitals and patients needing blood transfusions. Would recommend to family and friends feeling healthy and willing to take 15 minutes of their day to save up to 3 lives by just extending their arm.
