Overall

I have had ADT before and the business mindset is that of a larger cooperation. ADT did not ensure my safety or treasure my business. I was a loyal customer for 3 years before I had to find another company. I would literally have to plan a day out of my busy schedule if I needed any help from them. I sat on hold for up to an hour one time and the number of times I have been transferred was unimaginable. I felt more like I was just another number and not a true customer. I was getting tired of the faulty equipment and alarm trips that kept occurring, not to mention their ever so rising prices. I don't mind paying for protection but that was not what I received at all.

I was talking to a friend who recommended HSA security and I gave them a call. To my surprise, they were at my house the following day for an estimate and installation. I was amazed at how quickly they responded to any request that I made. I really feel like a high priority customer because of the level of care they provide. I have never waited longer than a day to get a technician to my house. I absolutely love this company. I recommend this company to everyone, just as my friend recommended them to me! Don't waist your time with larger considerations and save yourself the headache! Thanks HSA

Horrible customer service

I had the worst experience with this company. I called them out to service my home security system when they told me that I needed a brand new system for upwards of $500. I declined and had the ADT folks come out and fix my battery for only $35. Then I received a bill in the mail for monthly monitoring from HSA--a service I did not sign up for! When I called the office and asked why I had received a bill, the "gentleman" on the phone hung up on me! I called back where he curtly told me that "it would be taken care of". We'll see if I get another bill next month. Don't use this company for your home or office security needs. They are not qualified in repairs or kind customer service.

I am sorry you had a bad experience with our company. It must have been an ADT system, because ADT won't service systems that are not their's and not monitored by them. We service most brands, however we do not service ADT system because they routinely "installer lock-out" their alarm panels. You were given a price for upgrade based on the ADT system you had in your home. I am the one who does all service calls for HSA, and I always inform customers to the fact that we don't service ADT systems and the reason why. Then I give them a price for a system that we can service. As for the clerical error, we like everyone else are human and do not set forth to charge anyone for services not rendered, but do make clerical mistakes sometimes (Not very often). You called us and were told "We would take care of it", not sure what else you wanted to hear? We do not hang up on anyone, perhaps a phone line or cell line gave out? It is always better to assume the best, and not the worst. Again, i am sorry for your bad experience.
