Isis's journey with tarot began back in high school, when she bought a Universal Mini tarot deck at a shop in Newburyport, Mass., to begin reading for herself and her friends. Not having any kind of support or mentoring on the path, she quickly ran afoul of the million-and-one rules that newbies often encounter, got thoroughly freaked out by some of the cards, and stopped reading until she started college. She started over again more cautiously and sought out help and advice as she began her studies, and has not looked back since. After completing her graduate studies in education, Isis chose to combine her love of teaching and learning with her love of the tarot to start her own business teaching others to read the tarot. She hopes to expand the business in the future to include other metaphysical opportunities!
