Surfside Motel

The man refused the room because we would be arriving at 1am and he MIGHT be asleep. Ruined our family reunion.

the owner was incredibly rude. they have a policy that doesnt allow for a customer who works a night shift. that sounds like an unnecessary and irrelevent customer base to deny service to. what a joke. its none of their cotton pickin business when i do what i do. if i wanna... grease myself up and slide in the kitchen for two hours pretending im a slug wearing nothing but a pair of neon blue chaps thats my prerogative .

The owner was so rude and ridicullous. I have a 4adults and a small child, She said the fire marshall only allows 2 per room, so im suppose to rent a totall of 3 room? I was already going to get 2 rooms, but when she said id have to get an additional room i was outraged. whats wrong with two adults and a small child

The owner was rude and dismissive when we first checked in. I was very disappointed with the room; it was old and run down. There was a musty mildew odor in the room and mold on the AC unit. That night we were sitting outside our room talking and the owner came over and told us to "go to bed".(Him and his wife sleep in a camper right in front of the rooms and our talking was disturbing them) The next day we went to the office to ask for a couple extra towels to take to the beach and the management told us "no, and if you do take the towels from your room, we will charge your credit card $20 per towel". The place was smelly, dumpy, and the owners/management is very rude. I have never been treated like this at any hotel/motel that I have ever stayed. Will not be staying there again.
