Overall

I've gone there a couple of times to different people to get a gel manicure. A month ago I wanted to try black nail polish on my nails,I liked them. Today I told the woman I wanted to do black again. when I got out of the car in the sunlight I could see they weren't black. When I compared it to anything black I could see it wasn't pure black like the last time. Being annoyed I called back the place and calmly told the lady that the woman who did my nails put the wrong color on . She spoke to me very nicely and said okay come. I go in there and these 2 ladys are saying no no its black. I said inside it looks black but in the sunlight its not pure black. they were very dismissive and acted very rude to me. I didn't yell I was respectful and talked calmly. Then the lady who did my nails was yelling at who I assume is the manager because she must of been annoyed I complained. When I realized that they weren't going to do anything for me I said okay thank you and walked out.

Overall

If I could give 0 stars, I would. All I can say is do NOT get your nails done here if you do acrylics, gels, or anything besides a basic manicure. I brought my mother here for an early mother's day present, and all I can say was I'm thoroughly disappointed. I'll start with the very few positives: they were able to accommodate me and my mother as soon as we got there, and the pedicures were nice, albeit very rushed once the technicians notices a line forming at the door. My mother enjoyed her basic manicure. I had asked for an acrylic fill, with regular nail-polish in the fashion of a french manicure, with a clear gel top coat. Because I had 3 broken nails I was charged an extra $15 right off the bat ($5 for each nail). Th gel topcoat would be an extra $5. I was told my total would be $55. First of all, even with the broken nails, I have NEVER in my life paid more than $35 for this service, even at the best salons. I knew right away this was going to be a rip-off, but I didn't say anything because it was a special occasion and we wanted to enjoy ourselves. That didn't happen. It started with my nail technician, LYNN-- the WORST technician-- asking me, "You like having ugly nails?" I thought I misheard her. I asked her to come again, she repeated herself, and then I repeated it back to her, so there was no miscommunication. I said, "Of course I don't like ugly nails, why would you ask me that?" To which Lynn replied, "You shouldn't get this, you should get ..." naming some other more expensive product. However, I had already paid for mine and my mothers services. I asked her to stick with the acrylic nails and gel top coat. Lynn was extremely rough when filing, and two of my nails started bleeding. After the painful manicure was done and it was time for color, I noticed Lynn starting to paint my nail with gel COLOR, which I had not asked for. What's more, she put the pink at the tip of my nail and was about to put the white on the whole nail-- the OPPOSITE of a french manicure. I said that was not what I asked for, to please do a traditional french with the white at the tip. Lynn said I HAD asked her to do it that way, and if I wanted it done the other way, it would be another $10. Really? $10 to reverse the colors? At this point I was frustrated, and so was my mother because Lynn was taking so long. I said "Do me a favor, just do the whole nail pink please." Lynn said, "Okay, then that's only $50." Great, I thought, at least I saved $5 on this ridiculously overpriced manicure. Finally when Lynn was finished, I asked her to tell the front desk to refund my $5 since I changed my service and overpaid, and once Lynn found out that I had already paid, she decided that "No, the total is $55," simply because they didn't want to deal with refunding me. Despite all of this aggravation, being insulted, my nails being sloppily painted and cut too short and rounded instead of square like I asked for, I still left her a tip. I was so upset when I left I was almost in tears-- not only was the manicure overpriced, but it came out ugly and what was supposed to be a fun mother's day experience turned out to be stressful and upsetting. I will NEVER go back here again and either will my mother.
