Partners In Care Sarah Partners

Partners in Care is an awesome volunteer organization. I stumbled across their brochure at the library. I had recently resigned from my job and desired to do something more meaningful in life. I did not know that God was preparing to redirect my career path.



Partners in Care’s mission is to empower senior citizens to live independently. Since I believe the elderly are the hidden treasures of the community; I was more than happy to drive members to the grocery store or doctor appointments. Yet, I had given little thought to how much this simple gesture meant to the seniors. It proved to mean more to me as well.



The seniors I drive are very engaging. I am amazed by their wisdom, delightful sense of humor, and the remarkable community history revealed through conversations. As a volunteer, I have heard stories of bravery and discovered the heart of survivors within the frailest of physiques. I loved working with Partners in Care members. I have truly found my passion.
