Poor communication from the flooring department, in particular the carpet section. After prompt, efficient, and professional service regarding the measurements of desired carpet areas, I did not hear from Lowe's. I was told to expect a call within 2 to 3 business days with an estimate. That was on the 9th of October. On the 18th I called Lowe's and again on the 19th. Finally, on the 19th I received a return call, the estimate was to my liking, but after finding out how long it would be before carpet would be in the store and then not knowing when it could be installed, I decided to cancel the order and shop for carpet elsewhere. Sandra Hawkins, you lost a sale.

It's been my experience that the employees can't tell the difference between a washing machine and a claw hammer, and they routinely lie about delivery dates. I was there yesterday, with the part I needed replaced, and the plumbing employee managed to give me things that had no more to do with what I'd brought in than horse manure has to do with roast beef. Since it's a 70 mile (round trip), I've about 3 gallons of gas and about 2 hours in being sold the wrong product, and now I'm going to have to invest another 3 gallons of gas and another 2 hours in returning the useless parts for a refund. Minch's Hardware, in Owenton, sold me the correct parts, and for 1/3 less than Lowe's gouged me. This is the final straw for me. I'll never purchase anything from Lowe's again.
