Vicki's Making Faces

I am chemistry teacher. I have been for the last 17 years. I am not wild or crazy, no tattoos, no drinking or smoking but I did decide to get permanent make up. I am so PLEASED!!!!!! Vicki is a skilled artist. She is very cautious with sterilization techniques and talks you through the whole process. I do not understand the poor review given by Ms. Walker. I was given a mirror to see the progress and was instantly wowed by the amazing work being done. My eyes popped with the color she chose. What a great experience. I would only recommend and trust Vicki to apply something permanent to my face.

I am a 57 yr old woman who enjoys looking pretty but doesn't want to put in the time needed every morning to put on make up. And.... suddenly, I realize why older ladies have lipstick over their lip line & very crooked eye liner....they can't SEE to apply their make up! UGH, that's me. :( I prayed to God for His wisdom & guidance when googling info re: permanent make up. I researched & found Vicki's Making Faces. My app't was made & I brought my two daughters with me to check Vicki out, so to speak. Wonderful consultation... Vicki understood exactly what I wanted as my end result. My daughters were impressed with the way Vicki answered my questions & explained her procedures. Vicki was easy to talk to & reassured me all would be fine, because she uses topical anesthetics to keep discomfort to a very minimum. That was it! I got my eyebrows & upper/lower eye liner done by Vicki. She explained what she was about to do step by step, after she made me comfortable in her massage/vibration reclining chair. All went well! Vicki is only a phone text away for any questions as I went into my healing phase. She answered my text within one hour. After 8 weeks, I went for my touch up app't (which is free), because I wanted brows & eyeliner a little darker & more pronounced. Vicki said she would start off lighter because she could always darken to my liking during my touch up app't. I am so happy with my results that I am going to have Vicki do my lips, too!!! I am feeling so wonderful about my appearance! ...even got a new hairstyle. Who says life is boohoo as one gets older. Fiddle sticks...not for me!!! Thank You, God, for all Your help. Vicki is professional, keeps a very pretty, comfortable, clean office, & enjoys helping the inner beauty of a woman be magnified with her expertise in permanent make up. She, also, teaches others how to apply permanent make up. Thank you, Vicki!!!! :)

I have never wrote a review before but this was such a terrible experience I had to warn others away. the first impression put me off immediately her "salon" is a tiny office that looks like an empty business lot, no signs, nothing, just her, she talks the entire time about how she trains people from across the world on proper technique , right. not once does she hand me a mirror to look at what she is doing to me.at the end of it I stand up to get a look and I have these two thin RED AND PINK marks on my eyebrows! I wanted to cry! She assured me it was "just the marker she used to mark and will fade in a day" and I tell her they are just too thin for me, she says it takes twice to make them perfect so on my free touch up she will add volume. two weeks pass.they are BRIGHT red and not fading whatsoever.Not to mention the shape of them is horrible.I call her in tears, she says come in and we will fix, start all over and still get a free touch up next.ok.again I have my brows drawn on.Showed15 examples.again no mirror, She finishes and is rushing me and says we will perfect them on your touchup, so i leave, thinking this time they may be ok,week 2 they have faded into thin and sparse unsymmetrical brows.i call,go in, same brows drawn how i wanted.i had to ask her to stop so I could get up to look, I told her I was not happy with quite a few things, and that I want a solid clean line on the bottom and texture on the top and show her 15 pictures of what I want and the thickness, she proceeds to argue with me that it just "cannot be done" i get up to check in the bathroom, and by the time I come out she already has her coat on and her keys in her hand and says "we just can't make them look like the way you draw them on with your makeup they will never look like that" "it will be $75 dollars for the materials" I am so upset at this point, she basically walks me out and locks up before I can tell her what I wanted changed and she said "if you are going out and have to put makeup on your brows do not call me for a touch up that is normal we all do it".I spend 15 minutes a day trying to fix the awful unsymmetrical mess she left, one side is round/sharper arched, thick/thin,insides by my nose look like dots all the way through the top of my brow. Horrible mess, I cry all the time I feel butchered. I texted her to tell her how unhappy I was and she was rude+unprofessional, said she would "fill me in" but no refund or full work up. NEVER EVER EVER GO TO THIS WOMAN SHE IS A FRAUD!!! i spent $515 for nothing but heartache and lost work.
