I love this office. I have never been dissatisfied with their service. I have three boys in glasses and I wear glasses myself. If one of my boys break their glasses or have any issues they have always been quick to fix them or resolve the issue. They always greet us with a smile and a hello. I am 38 years old and have been using Eyear Optical since I was in middle school. (got my first pair of glasses there) I will always be a customer of Ft. Oglethorpe GA Eyear Optical.

We were visiting from out of town when my mom's glasses broke. They were so kind and attentive. The repair was made quickly and they didn't even charge us because because the ear piece didn't match the one on the glasses. We will come back just to get new glasses because of their wonderful caring service. They went above and beyond

Had an appointment @1:30 arrived at 1:00 they could not pull up my insurance information, I also didn't have a good but told the lady I was going to make a call. The person I call stated I could look it up so I drove to McDonalds nearby for wifi to pull up my work info on my laptop, I found my insurance information drove back over approximately 1:20. She stated that she would try to squeeze me in she gave away my appointment, I told her I went to make a call and she said, "You Left." She did not wait nor call me to confirm cancelling so my family and I will never be back! "Unprofessional"

My complaint isn't about the O.D. but, I will say that he didn't even introduce himself, a little odd. That being said; it was the worst optical experience ever! Their retail space is so outdated, dirty and just not patient friendly. It was like stepping back into 1980 something! I know much about the optical industry &the unlicensed optical employee seemed threatened by that. She wasn't familiar with my lenses so, she put them down. Turns out they don't dispense them because they're high-end, state of the art, freeform progressive. She tried to talk me into cheap lenses that are nearly obsolete, until her boss stepped in. She doesn't explain anything well to the patient/customer; as if we're all too stupid to comprehend. I suggest they spend some cash on updating their location(s) and training their employees and perhaps less on on catchy TV commercials!

HERE"S MY RANT FOR TODAY!!!!!...... I went earlier this week to have my eyes checked. I went somewhere new because it was closer to me and I hadn't heard anything BAD about the place...Well they said my old RX was stronger than what my eyes are suppose to be...anyways I get new lens put in my glasses and new contacts and they said oh you'll be able to see great out of these...first of all they are weaker than what I had to begin with and lets just say I have been driving around all week long not being able to see the road signs lights etc until I get right up on them...YES I AM BLIND!!! so today I go back to the same place because that's their policy...the old man rechecks my eyes and I keep telling him I can't see it it's all really blury...he says well this is what you have and this one is a weaker RX...and I said well I can't see out of them. He ask me what I purpose he do and I said well there has to be something different you can turn change etc and he says no there isn't...these are your two choices...what they gave me or a weaker one and I looked at that man and said well to be honest sir I could see better out of my old lens than I can see out of these and he got up and said well I guess thats what you need to do then is use your old lens...he wrote on the file to refund my money and walked out of the room.... Can you say PISSED OFF...I am so frustrated that I waste not only one day but now two trying to see............THE PURPLE EYEAR OPTICAL STORE IN FORT OGLETHORPE STINKS!!!!! I went and got my old lens and put them back in my glasses until I can go back to my normal eye care facility LENS CRAFTERS!!
