Horizon One Dental

At a time of true crisis over and above my normal visits of which I am and have been for sometime a client now with "special needs" to which all have been attended to my utmost satisfaction the staff and crew, one and all, have helped me through and down the proper path to pre-chemo-therapy cancer treatment dental deep cleaning and inspection. I am a client, but now I feel they are "family" because of the time they took with me and the compassion they showed, I will continue to treat there because of this knowledge they bestowed. Because of the information they gave me, chemo therapy can destroy an unhealthy mouth, and I am so glad they are working with me to keep my mouth healthy. I don't feel like a number to them, but feel like a person they really care about.

The dentist Dr Kuhn I have no complaints and Dr Bakos seems like a decent dentist. The office staff leaves a lot to be desired. I was kept waiting for 30 minutes in the office because one of the ladies at the front desk did not pass along a message. I came in for an implant and was numbed and draped, and the implant was cancelled because the lab messed up the guide. The lab, which is in-house, had a mold of my teeth and somehow forgot to add the PERMANENT metal retainer I have on my teeth! I was rescheduled for a month later! Two days before my appointment I was contacted and told due to another lab area my appointment would have to be rescheduled. Another month of waiting. I had a crown that came off (it was in place for six years prior) and it was recemented at horizon one. It came off three days later. It was recemented again by horizon one and came off again! I was charged for visit after being told there was no charge and I had to speak with the claims and office manager a minimum of four times before it was removed. I asked to speak to the dentist (Dr. Bakos) to inform him of the trouble with the office staff and I was told by his assistant (after waiting 25 minutes) that he would not talk with me!

The front desk staff here at Horizon One Dental always checks me into my appointment without any issues. I am very thankful to be a patient here.

The staff and doctors here at Horizon One Dental are so great at doing their best to make me feel comfortable during my visits at the office.

On a scale from 1-10 Dr. Kuhn is a 15. He is so knowledgeable and very experienced in the dental field. His dental techniques are the best and I am very comfortable here.
