My Friend and I were going to go out to lunch for the first time. I said let's going to Las Olas. We were in Fort Lauderdale running errands. We drove down Las Olas viewing the options we had. She said let's try the Italian place. I said ok. We walked in we were greet prompted. She said this place has a good vibe. It's like the restaurants in New York. She's from New York. Bryon, our waiter was fabulous. He thought we were on vacation. He told him we were local. He asked if we were celebrating something. We were just going out to lunch. He was extremely patience did not rush us through the extensive menu. We ordered the Farro Grain Bowl and Rigatoni Broccoli. We also ordered a cheese and salami plate as an appetizer. We let Bryon select the cheeses and salami for us. Everything was great. Throughout the lunch my friend said wow this was a real great choice in restaurants. We also ordered a bottle of Josh Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Our glasses very never empty. Bryon was very attentive to us. We also ordered the Tiramisu which was probably the best Tiramisu I every had.

- Louie Bossi is not your typical chef. Growing up in an Italian household in New York he remembers the aromas of roasted garlic and fresh meatballs sizzling from his family’s kitchen. Raised by a single mother juggling three jobs, Bossi taught himself to cook at the age of eight. Working his way from dishwasher to cook at the local pizzeria Bossi developed a love for the art of pizza making. Relocating to Florida in 2000, Bossi landed his first job with Big Time Restaurant Group as grill cook. Exploring different positions within their popular portfolio of restaurants Chef Bossi proved to be one of the hardest working and most inspired chefs in the company, which earned him the coveted Executive Chef position at Big City Tavern. Bossi's D.I.Y. approach has led him to obtain a certification from Chef Brian Polcyn in the ancient art and technique of charcuterie, as well as becoming a Master Pizza Maker from The Scuola Italiana Pizzaoili in San Francisco.
