My name is Julie Ann Caldwell and I'm an artist. I do originals,prints and commissioned art work. I work in pen and ink,paint,colored chalk,colored pencil and many but not all my works are mixed media. My portraits are of people and animals and I like to capture them in the act of living their lives rather than just posing. I also do flowers,hats,photo-realism,fantasy and anything else I can think of.My pieces have a lot of dertail,texture,depth and contrast.

I try to work closely with my customer on portraits so they are satisfied with the end result. I try to work within my customer's price range so details like the number of figures,with or without boarders,backgrounds,mixed media or one medium are discussed. My art is good for a gift to one's self or as gift for friends or family. Art is good for special occasions, decorating a new home or remodeling an old one. It is something special for someone.
