Amanda Monroe. A verizon employee who made me feel like I was her Mom when she helped me, just another customer with a major problem. Up to the point when I met Ms Monroe I had been having one of those days from hell, and Ms Monroe immediately began to calm me, taking charge of my problem and making me feel completely confident that "everything would be fine, take a deep breath and she had everything under control." I was leaving for a two week tour of Europe the next day, I had been ill, hadn't begun to PACK and the last thing I needed was to be phone less. She was my angel helper and I can't begin to say enough words of praise and gratitude. I am a senior citizen and as such I find that most businesses try to push me to hurry up and just let them get to their "real customers". Not Amanda. She made me feel like a VIP. What a wonderful world if all young people could be tutored by Ms Monroe.
