Gold's Gym

I've been a member for 3 years. I brought my oldest daughter in for a trial about a year ago, and she's a member as well. So Sunday, I brought my younger daughter in to try it out. The front desk person, Emily, told me that there were no free passes I could use to bring my daughter, and that I needed to pay 16 dollars for a 1 day pass. I paid the money, and went to work out. When I logged into wifi to get some tunes, I get this ad on the golds page for a 3 day buddy pass, with a link underneath to a VIP pass as well. When I took my phone up to Emily to ask her about why she didn't offer that to me, she said that we didn't qualify. You have to be 18 (my daughter is 20), it has to be between 9-7, (it was 9:30 when we arrived) and it had to be issued by a salesperson. I saw 2 there. She was very rude about it, and actually smirked when I asked for her name. Horrible service. I'd recommend NOT being a member here.

Don't be fooled by anyone when you join here. This is not a month to month membership as was promised. You will be locked in one way or another for a year. It's a joke!

DO NOT JOIN GOLD"S GYM. The gym does NOT care about customer satisfaction. Their main goal is to try to get as much money from you as possible. After you cancel your membership (once you are no longer under a contract), Gold's Gym will continue to bill you for 2 additional payments. Yes, you read that right - you must continue to make 2 more payments for a service that you cancelled!!! I tried to resolve this issues with Gold's Gym, but no one will help you. The local gym will tell you to contact the corporate office - good luck with that. The gym itself is not worth the monthly cost much less two additional payments. Go to one of the many other gym options - you will receive better customer service, a better gym, and a better price.
