I find it shocking to read some of these reviews that are negative. I LOVE FCA. I would have my child no where else. She is shown the Love of Christ, while in a learning environment. We read books, write papers, have a reading program, play sports, and have music (band, chorus, etc.). I have never felt out of place, felt like we have been talked down to, or felt anyone was unapproachable if I had an issue to resolve. Parent volunteers are always welcome. FREEDOM has gone above and beyond what I expected for a private school for my child. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a higher education.

Teachers and curriculum were great. My daughter has some learning difficulties and the teachers were very helpful. Except two weeks before school started we recieved an e-mail stating my daughter was not welcomed back and that the teachers would not be subjected to another year of babysitting. Was very disappointed and upset. If my daughter was too much for the school to handle I would have understood being contacted at the end of the previous year and told that the school tried but, my daughter needed more attention than they could provide. It would have been more appropriate than a rude e-mail two weeks before school starts.

As a parent of a special needs child, I have found that generally private schools are unwelcoming to "differences." However, at Freedom Christian Academy, my son learns that he is fearfully and wonderfully made and is treated that way everyday. The administration and the teachers have been very flexible to accomodate my son's needs while still demanding the best out of him. Students at Freedom are trained to love all people, every race, every denomination and it shows in the way that even high school students love on my 5 year old. My son's speech therapist from the public school system comes to FCA multiple times a week to work with him and recently she advised us to KEEP him at Freedom and NOT take him to public school because she could see he was thriving in its nurturing environment. It truly is a family atmosphere and it is wonderful to be in a place where you know so many people are looking out for your children.

My Granddaughter attends Freedom Christian Academy and she has thrived under the care of her teachers. She looks forward each day to attending school and joining her friends for an academic day full of Christ centered activities and lessons that honor God and our country. She has a keen awareness of respect and thankfulness for the blessings God has bestowed on our family due to the teachings and awareness that has been presented to her from everyone at Freedom from the kitchen staff to the office personal to her teachers to the administration. I could not be happier with her growth since she has attended this Christ centered school. In comparison to other schools we surveyed in the process of choosing a school for her, Freedom stood out way above and ahead of the rest. I am so thankful for each person there and how they are nurturing and influencing my granddaughter!!

Although they teach bible and ...

Although they teach bible and the classes are small, my children constantly complained about the condescending tones and rude (sometimes racists) comments made by the principal/staff. Verbal abuse and intimidation were modeled way too often. They are STILL awaiting accreditation. I was forbidden to speak with one of my child's teachers b/c I did not speak kindly of administration. We are enrolling in public school where they read books/write papers/ have Accelerated Reading, Music, Athletics, etc. I can no longer pay to be mistreated.
