Located in Fayetteville, Ga., Fayetteville Intermediate School has a staff of more than 65 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes guidance counselors, school nurses, media specialists, speech therapists, custodians, art and music professionals, and physical and health education instructors. It is supported by the Fayette County School System, which provides educational services to more than 22,000 students in over 30 schools. Fayetteville Intermediate School has alliances with several organizations, including Allan Vigil Southlake Ford, Chick-fil-A Dwarf House, Gym South Gymnastics, Heritage Bank and Southern Crescent Mortgage. The school offers classes in a variety of subjects, such as language arts, reading, math, science and social studies. In addition, it conducts classes in technology, media, band, special education, and art and music. Fayetteville Intermediate School teaches students in third through fifth grades.
