I cancelled an appt at this clinic with Dr. Chapman a couple of hours before my appt. with a viable reason as to why I couldn't make it. As a result, I was charged $95 for a missed appt. Not $20 or $35, a reasonable amount, but almost $100! This is absolutely ridiculous and harsh!. Surely they know this will get rid of a patient quickly, which could have been their underhanded motive.

All of the employees there are too arrogant. I was told by one of the psychiatrists that because of the shortage of psychiatrists in NWA, she didn't have time to listen to individuals problems, and only had time for medication management. There isn't a shortage, I've since discovered. And she wouldn't give me the quantity of medication I needed that I easily got from another state anyway.

Life happens, and it's too bad that we had to cancel our appointment, but we aren't mechanical robots yet. It looks bad when any doctor charges for a missed appt. To me, they just look greedy, and must think they are more important than their patients.

What happens when people cancel on me? I don't get to charge them a fee, and I don't think the doctors are any better than I when scheduling my day

I waited over an hour to see Dr. Chapman and found the entire experience to be a waste of my time. She spoke the majority of the hour, cursed and often cited other cases as well as instances in her own life. Her bedside manner was poor and somewhat condescending. She seemed anxious and slightly aggressive. After the appointment, I overheard her making negative comments about someone to her office staff. I can’t imagine that she could offer a sense of calmness and stability to a patient.
