"Sweetland's Truck and Auto Repairs" is courteous, timely in completing the repairs, and reasonably priced.



I started checking with auto repair places because the water pump was leaking on my 2005 VW GTI. When I was talking with a friend about the car, he recommended Sweetland's Truck and Auto Repair. I then checked with Sweetland's and decided to have Sweetland's service the car.



When I brought the car in to Sweetland's to have the water pump replaced, they also recommended replacing the timing belt, especially if it had never been replaced. VW recommends replacing the timing belt on the engine between 85,000 and 100,000 miles, there was no record of the timing belt being replaced. I had the timing belt replaced to prevent further damage to the engine. The car had 95,000 miles on it when I purchased it and 110,00 miles on it when I had the timing belt replaced.



When the VW started having trouble 6 months later, I brought it back to Sweetland's to have a diagnostic run on the car's engine. Sweetland's determined the Electronic Throttle Body Sensor was faulty. Sweetland's replaced the part and the engine has been working fine. I have been very satisfied with Sweetland's repair work and will continue to use them for my truck and auto repairs. I recommend Sweetland's for repairs on trucks, RVs and cars.

Brandon and his crew have always answered all my questions, and as I have had two vehicles that have some rather unusual mechanical issues due to their age and brand (2003 Isuzu) there has been many.

I have in the past worked on my own vehicles so I know when someone is trying to snow me and Sweetland's never has and I thank them for it.

Our RV broke down and we suspected it was a failure in the fuel pump. We took it to Sweetland's where after several hours of waiting, they finally decided too that it was the fuel pump. They would not be able to work on it until the following day. They took 13 hours to replace a fuel pump in our RV. They charged over $1700, and claimed that it was because it was a lot of work and they put us in front of their "loyal" and "expensive" accounts. I was constantly checking in with them (they never called us), they were vague about when it would be done, and never updated us with an estimate or cost. In hindsight, after reading reviews of what a fuel pump replacement should cost on an RV of this type and the amount of labor required, it would seem that we've been ripped off, BADLY!!! I would recommend being present at the shop while they work on your RV and force an estimate once they diagnose the problem.
