General Info: Joanna Trigg DO is a board certified dermatologist at Bellmore Dermatology. Dr. Trigg treats both adult and pediatric patients. She is a native of New York who grew up in Brooklyn and attended Bishop Kearney High School. After graduating summa cum laude and earning a bachelor's degree in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology from Wagner College, Dr. Trigg received her medical degree from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY.. She then completed her residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Queens, New York in affiliation with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. During her residency, Dr. Trigg attended, presented and lectured at many conferences. She also served as Chief Dermatology resident during the final year. Training in New York City gave her exposure to a very large and diverse patient population. Dr. Trigg is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Osteopathic Medicine. She enjoys both medical and cosmetic dermatology with her expertise in acne, rosacea and skin cancer screenings. Dr. Trigg enjoys working with her patients to provide a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan for all their needs!
