Flesh Tattoo Company completely lives up to the reputation it has established throughout Maryland. For my 31st birthday I finally decided to get my second tattoo. I called the shop and talked with LeeAnn about a general idea of what I wanted. LeeAnn was able to suggest which artist would be best to create my tattoo. I was able to bring in a few printouts of the design I wanted and left the rest up to Kirk. Kirk drew up an amazing sketch and helped me decide where on my body I wanted it. Kirk did an awesome job on the tattoo and the whole process was comfortable and enjoyable. I was extremely nervous the day I scheduled to get my tattoo, but Kirk and LeeAnn made the whole experience relaxing.

This shop has amazing artists and great customer service. When people ask me where I got my tattoo done, no one is surprised that I got it at Flesh. It is amazingly perfect. I would recommend to anyone to go talk with LeeAnn and let her help point you in the right direction with choosing the right artist for your tattoo. All of the artists are available to speak with you about what you have in mind. They are all equally amazing and beyond talented. But if you can grab an appointment with Kirk, do it. He's great!

I have several tattoos and the one I got most recently (a fern frond, done by Angel) is my favorite. The detail is amazing and I'm always getting compliments when it's visible. Angel is incredibly talented and ran the custom drawing by me a few times before my appointment and it was perfect; exactly what I wanted. She also worked with my existing tattoos to tie them together. She was highly recommended because of the detailed botanical idea I had in mind, and she delivered.

The customer service at Flesh is the best. LeeAnn, the shop manager, takes great care with everyone who walks in the door to make sure they're comfortable.

The shop is super professional and clean and I'm so grateful that there's a custom shop like this in Harford County.



To the person who gave Flesh a negative rating: you know you can see the stencil before they start to tattoo you, right? It's not like a blind date with something you'll have forever. If you didn't like it, you should have spoken up before the gun started buzzing. That's on you, not the shop.

DO NOT GO TO FLESH TATTOO COMPANY in Fallston,MD! I did lots of research on this "so-called professional tattoo shop" all of their tattoos online look great and so do the albums in the shop of "supposed" work they have done. I received the worse tattoo(I have several). I called and spoke to the owner Leanne and expressed to her how unhappy I was. I paid for a feather tattoo with birds....very common tat, so I thought. I ended up with a stick figure feather that a five year could draw better!!! It looks like a jail house tattoo. I tried to get them to work with me to fix it and they flat out refused and said I would have to pay a "New Artist" to have it redone at their shop. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE! Very unprofessional and apparently don't care if their customers are satisfied with the result of their elementary artists. If you like terrible tattoo's for a high price...then maybe this is the shop for you. If you expect a quality tattoo by a professional shop that cares about their image and their customers satisfaction DO NOT GO HERE! STAY far away!!! Find a reputable, professional, and clean tattoo establishment.

So I'm someone who has quite a few tattoos. I've seen plenty of bad I've seen plenty of good, and even great tattoos in my time. If you want a great or even a good tattoo with a positive customer experience than please please pay attention to what I say next. STAY AWAY FROM FLESH TATTOOS in Fallston Maryland. My 18 year old daughter went there to get a tattoo. She had exactly what she wanted in mind, we even did our research to find the right design and the right artist. When she walked into flesh earlier this week she walked in confident of what she wanted and with a picture in hand. What she went in asking for was completely thrown to the side and what she walked out with was a 5yr olds versions of what to me appears to be a mix between an arrow head, feather, duck beak, etc... essentially what she wanted was a feather turning into birds flying away. The tattoo she received was not even close. It's in a spot where it will show for the rest of her life and to make matters worse we went in today to voice our concerns and to voice our complaint and we were bombarded by the show manager and other tattooists raising their voices, talking over us, obviously making a bad situation even worse. The concern for the actual art wasn't even a care in their minds. They didn't want to hear any of it and in fact when asked if they thought it was worth the money that we paid for it they said absolutely, that it looked great, and they completely backed the tattooists work. I do not live by the mindset that the customer is always right, I never have because there are always situations where the customer is not right but in this case it is obvious that the work was terrible and should never have been put on her body in the first place. Out of consideration for my daughter and her personal business I will not post a picture online of this since she is incredibly upset over the fact that she now has to go pay someone else to get this monstrosity fixed but believe me, from someone who knows quite a bit about what is art and what a good tattoo looks like this is most certainly no where near the vicinity of a good tattoo. To add one more point if your questioning if Flesh did anything to rectify this at all, the answer is no. Leann the shop manager told us good luck finding somewhere else to fix it and sent us on our way. So please if you are another parent out there who is concerned for your child getting a tattoo, if the name Flesh comes up in the Fallston Maryland area do everything you can to steer your child or even yourself in a different direction.



Not only are they no help what so ever in the case that one of their artists makes a mistake, they also employee "Artists" who have no clue what they are doing. And have no business behind the trigger of a tattoo gun. DANE!!!!!!!



Final Analysis: Flesh Tattoo Company is not a reputable place to have a tattoo done. They have mounted their business on the shoulders of one artist who is impossible to get an appointment with. If he is not available you get passed off to an underling who I question has ever even painted with water colors, and you walk out of their shop with a permanent nightmare cut into your body. And when there's an issue you deal with a shop manager who has no personal or professional communication skills and really is just there for a paycheck and most certainly not there to hear or show any care towards the customers needs.

I've been to Flesh on 3 separate occasions & have had a positive experience every time. Not only do they do great work, but they have AWESOME customer service which I have not found at other shops. They even call you to remind you of your appt. All around GREAT place!
