I have been getting my hair washed, cut, “blown out,” colored, permed, and even trimmed, without a shampoo, since the establishment opened. I have NEVER been disappointed. I have always been treated with the utmost courtesy and kindness because the owner and her daughter are professionals who take great pride in being able to provide their patrons with a full-service salon that includes a very sweet manicurist, named Yvonne. While it’s true that Yvonne and Diane (the owner) are immigrants from Viet Nam, their English is excellent; people who are native speakers of a language that is very different from American English, CANNOT CONCEAL THEIR “FOREIGN” ACCENT. For the previous reviewer who described her visit to the salon as sheer torture to write such defamatory remarks in an obviously calculated, malicious, and most likely a retaliatory motive. Interestingly, the reviewer seems to have omitted half of the story. What, exactly, were her own actions and words during the alleged malpractice and ensuing conflict? She claimed that her hair was already “styled and pretty,” so what was she doing there. It is unfortunate that this “racist” author did not leave the salon at the first opportunity, instead of lamenting that she did not.

A friend recommended that I go here for a hair cut, so I took her advice and asked for a specific stylist. She was the only stylist in the salon, so I don't think I had a choice to begin with. I arrived on time, and waited for 15 minutes.

My hair is long, and fine; I have been growing it out for years and it is very healthy. So I told her how I wanted it trimmed; very simple. She proceeded to cut my hair without even shampooing it. She sprayed it with a water bottle that smelled like mildew, and began cutting my hair that had not been washed and still had product in it. Downright nasty.

I should have taken a clue from her own hairstyle because it looked like a rats nest. She SHREDDED my hair. I'm not a hair stylist but I know that you do not drag scissors down the hair shaft to get a layered effect. Especially with very fine hair. By now, I was disgusted and could not wait for her to blow dry my hair so I could leave. But my expectations must have been high, because I didn't even get a blow out!

She said I was done, and I ended up leaving the salon with WET HAIR. Before she ruined my hair, it was styled and pretty, and by the time I left it looked 100% F*CKED.

They charged me $30, for a crap hair cut with no shampoo and no blow dry! When I complained, the owner tried to defend her daughters actions and denied that anything was wrong. She spoke very poor English and was extremely rude and nasty with me. She began raising her voice at me in front of her other clients. I cannot fathom how this downright nasty, and rude establishment stays in business.

I wouldn't recommend this disgusting salon to my worst enemy. Yes, it's THAT bad.
