Overall

They kept filing my dog's shot...

They kept filing my dog's shots wrong. Every time I made an appointment for grooming they would tell me my dog needed one shot or test or another. Only 1 out of 3 times did this turn out to be true. And when it was true they would straight up -refuse- to groom my dog until the shot was up to date, even if it was only off by a week or two and I planned to get it for her soon.

they are so good at taking car...

they are so good at taking care of the animals. They are gentle and i would recommend them over any vet. When i get older i want to be a vet and i want to work there. The doctors are nice and very good at there job. <3 capeway vet

She started her career in mixed animal practice here at Capeway Veterinary Hospital and gained experience with large and small animals as well as exotics, since we were the veterinarians for the local zoo at that time. At her next practice in New Hampshire, she transitioned to a small animal practice and also worked with exotic pet birds. Throughout her career, she has had a special place in her heart for shelter work, and started out volunteering her time for the first few years, and then became a shelter veterinarian for a small shelter in Massachusetts. Currently she works with two shelters in Rhode Island, and still does some part time for another local practice. She is passionate about educating clients and has a special interest in behavior medicine, performing behavior consultations for dogs and cats. She has studied Fear Free practice and is currently studying Low Stress handling for dogs and cats.

Autumn is one of our Veterinary Technicians. Her connection with animals started from a very early age and she began working with them by 10 years old. From volunteering at Humane Societies, leading adoption days and dog walking, to training and kennel work. She even made it on the news for â€œPet of the weekâ€ in her then town of Clifton Colorado. Her very first job was at an Animal Hospital in New York. There, she tended to boarding patients, handled medications, groomed and cared for patients after chemotherapy. In her free time Autumn likes to be outdoors with her two dogs, Samson whom sheâ€™s had since she was 14 and Archie who just turned one in May. She also has two cats at home, Steven and Moon.
