Urgent Care of Fairfield

The receptionist at the desk is very rude in how she talks with patients. I get it you work in healthcare and are busy. I also work in healthcare but treat patients with respect and no attitude. This would be the lady who was working 9/27 at 430pm. She needs to treat patients better.

Was advised by physician to get chest x-ray and wasn't sure where to go. Insurance carrier recommended Urgent Care of Fairfield and couldn't be more pleased. Sandy the x-ray tech was very helpful, professional and quick. Would not hesitate to go again.

Wow!! Where do I start.... I took my 7 year old son to Urgent Care of Fairfield on a Sunday for a high fever that had lasted more than a couple of days. The attending doctor performed a 2 minute review of my son and prescribed Augmentin XR for, what he described, an URI.

By Wednesday of the next week, we were bak at our family doctor as my son had no signs of relief. We were told by our doctor that the attending at the Urgent Care prescribed an unsafe dosage for my son - so much so that his body was fighting the medicine versus the infection.

I called the Urgent Care and shared my story - they wanted a letter from my doctor (which I provided). I was told by the office manager that the doctor was within an accptable dosage for his weight. Furthermore, she reminded me of my balance (something like $95).

After talking to my local Kroger Rx and my doctor, I was advised to file a report with the State of Ohio and not pay the bill.



As of today, I'm waiting to hear back from the state. Ironically, the Urgent Care of Fairfields missions statement reads: It is our mission to provide express medical services in a timely professional manor. Shame on me for not requesting ACCURATE medical services.



I imagine that my account will end up at a collection company. I will, for as long as I can, hold out and fight this quack
