Robik Glantz Builders

We bought a beautiful brand-new home from Robik Glantz in 2004 ($600k+), but it soon became apparent that they cut corners in ways that have caused us a great deal of grief and money. Within months of moving in, we had floor, carpet and ceiling damage from a leaky master shower. After nearly a year of battling with RG they reluctantly fixed it, or so we believed. The interior has failed yet again and a tear out has revealed error upon error in the way it was installed ("fixed"). The result is an expensive tear-out and re-do of the shower and sheetrock in the ceiling below that is ruined from longterm water damage (again!). We had similar issues with the hardwood floors throughout the main floor. A flood of that level 3 weeks before we were to move in necessitated a "redo" of the finishing of the floor. A subpar finish looked good for the short term, but didn't last. We had to have the entire level redone a couple of years ago. The feedback from the floor people paralleled that of the shower--shoddy work. Needless to say, I would not recommend purchasing a home from RG.
