Lynda failed to impress me and my wife and we definitely would not recommend using her services. During the buildup to our wedding we had several calls to go over plans/event schedule and we felt like she knew what she was doing – she had ideas for locations, knew how long things would take and her website showed very good and appealing photos. On the day of our wedding, she led us around town and despite some apprehension with some of the shots/locations (e.g. ones in a parking garage), we thought everything was in order.



After we got back from our honeymoon it all fell apart. The first thing that caught us off guard was simply the sheer number of photos – she had provided about half as many as our friends’ photographers had. Additionally, we never even saw photos from some of the locations downtown. We repeatedly asked where all these photos were and she said that she had deleted them – that they simply hadn’t turned out well. She also missed entire chunks of our wedding – there was no picture of the veiling (bedekken) of my wife or me giving my wife her ring. Moreover, the only picture of me stepping on the glass (it was a Jewish wedding) is of my foot on a bag – no full length picture of me!



We are also extremely disappointed with the quality of the photos that we received. When we complained that the skin tone of us and our family and friends was morbid and deathly looking, she told us that we had no idea what we were talking about – that it was our monitor, not the pictures. When we tried to explain to her that the photos from our friends’ weddings were in vibrant color on the same monitor displaying her poorly colored photos, she was nothing if not rude and nasty to us over the phone and in emails. Working with this woman was an absolute nightmare. We had to praise her at-best mediocre quality work in order to get her to fix any of the issues with the photos.



Furthermore, the process of assembling our albums with her was horrible. End to end, the whole process of assembling albums took ~9.5 months from the date of our wedding. The photos in each of the iterations that Lynda did herself were akwardly placed and not at all of the “professioanl and artistic” quality that we had been told to expect. Nothing looked even close to the quality that we had seen from other friends’ wedding photos or even Lynda’s own website. The final album that we received was, to say the least, extremely disappointing. The text on the jersey that I gave my wfe was totally backwards. Poor coloring, adjustments and lighting in several of the photos in the final album made the people in our photos look strange. Ironically, the album that my wife (with no prior design experience) put together using off-the-shelf software and photos gathered from multiple sources was stunning in comparison, although it took her a few months to correct the issues with Lynda’s photos.



Most importantly, we are disgusted with the mean and totally unprofessional approach that Lynda took towards two clients who paid her several thousands of dollars to produce work that we were quite clearly disappointed with. To yell at us over the phone and behave in such a horrible way towards us, I just couldn’t believe it. Not once were the words “I’m sorry” ever uttered by this woman. This could not be a more stark comparison to our videographer, who was perfectly placed and produced the most fabulous video for us. We only wish we could have freeze-framed the video and used those images to create our wedding album, as it was beautifully done. In addition, he could not have been more kind and acommmodating.



For the reasons noted above, we quite clearly would not recommend Lynda to anyone.
