Howling Wolf Kennels

I regularly use Howling Wolf Kennels, with one or both of my dogs. Moo Shu and Rocky always come back happy, healthy, and tired (in a good way!) from their lengthy play time with other kennel "residents". The employees work long hours and genuinely love what they do, and the dogs too. And they're always able to fit me in even with little-to-no advance notice, as well as to accommodate inevitable schedule changes.

Howling Wolf is my dogs' home away from home. I travel extensively and the dogs are every bit as happy to go back to Howling Wolf as they are to see me come get them! When I ended up in an ambulance on the way to the hospital, they even went over to my house and picked the dogs up! When I am out of town, I know that everything possible is done to ensure my dogs are happy and healthy. They come home fully exercised through fun play with their furry friends and the attentive folks who throw balls all day for them. I can't imagine taking them anywhere else!

This is the only doggy day care where I will take my 2 dogs (who may as well be my children). Most vets/boarding places that I have found locally use kennels with their day care - if I wanted my dog in a kennel I could do that at home. I was literally told by another place in Evergreen that they would be kenneled and that someone would take them out "if they had time." This place is the complete opposite. It is strictly all outdoors and the dogs have couches, pools, toys, and there is always someone outside with them, usually just petting them or throwing the ball. Not only have I watched this happen on the webcams, but also in person when I go in to pick them up. I've noticed there are a TON of regulars/repeat customers, because those who have gone there before know there's no where else as good. They also have separate areas outside, so if a dog is smaller, or needs to be alone it can be separated. They are VERY good with the dogs' names, so much that I myself know many of the other dogs names. Each dog is treated like an indiviual, not just another faceless canine. I even know which dogs MY dogs have a crush on and vice versa. . The new owners are clearly dog lovers and so is the staff. Very personable and friendly. I bring my dogs quite a bit and if this place ever closed I don't know what I would do! A+ Thumbs Up.
