Midas

I worked for Midas (St.Joe) in 2014 for about 2 weeks: watched the manager ("Josh" who still works for Midas at the Green River location now) kick the door off the hinges in my direction before calling me THE "worst mechanic" he ever hired. I had tools come up missing the day i was told to "go home". My hours were electronically manipulated to reflect the story he hatefully concocted about my good name (after i found the hiring manager lied to me about my compensation for being employed there). There was no ASE certified people in the Evansville area employed at that time for Midas except myself (representing itself as a corporate one when they were only a privatized outfit at that time). They did not use torque wrenches and proper specialty tools on critical repairs/parts when installing (at least then), chastised research efforts by employees and lied extensively to customers. I wouldn't give the business even a portion of a start (at least in the Evansville area).

Went for a/c service got charged $75 for them to tell me my compressor was "maybe" going out. Was quoted $1200 to fix it, but left there with no a/c and an estimate that was outrageous.

The workers were very friendly BUT when they did my tire rotation they didn't tighten my lug nuts back!!!! So only go here if you are willing to risk your life or whoever rides in your car!!!! DON'T GO HERE!

worst service ever! waited for over an hour while another car that came in after me was done way before mine! do not use this midas!
