I had seen Dr Lanning several years ago..myexpierence.be was great..several days ago I tried again to make an appointment. Had my insurance card but the receptionist said I need an additional one that was blue and white.for billing reasons..After calling my insurance I was told I shouldn't need the blue and white card.so I called back to Dr Lanning office and still the receptionist challenged me on this...so I found another eye doctor and the insurance card I had in my purse was sufficient. .

Maybe their computer is out dated or something. But I just simply wasn't inspired to return to that office

I have been going here for two years, did not like my last optometrist, he was grumpy. This place is wonderful and you don't have to wait forever to get an appointment..was pleased with their selection of budget glasses starting at $1oo. These are good people who offer quality care, and accept medical.

My last visit to an optometrist was so long ago I can't even remember when. See, I'm a journalist and my eyeballs are glued to a computer monitor all day. Kills my eyes. So I figured I'd better get some frames on my face soon, or else it'd be a service dog I'd need and not a prescription.



I came in for my appointment and Janice greeted me by name as soon as I stepped foot inside. Of course they were expecting me. But you go into a place like this and you expect to find the frigid, sterile, soulless foyer to Limbo itself. Instead, what I walked into was a pretty classy operation. A lot of attention was paid to detail in the design of the office and for a second I even wondered whether I'd walked through the door of a day spa with an inexplicable assortment of spectacles on display across two walls.



And you know how the eye exam itself is usually an awkward situation where you find yourself sitting with some outlandish looking metal hardware on your mug while the doctor leans in uncomfortably close and mouth-breathes into your face? Doc Lanning didn't do that. Instead he punctuated the various tests with a bit of edifying commentary and questions.



But perhaps the most notable thing I took away from this experience was just how genuinely excited the Doc and Janice were that I was there, getting my eyeballs examined, and looking for a pair of frames to put on my unfortunate mug. When I finally decided on the round frames Ronda, the staff person helping me, quickly took measurements of of my eyes to ensure these frames would work. She also set me up with anti-reflective / scratch resistant coating. Which have proven to be VERY helpful in respects to my working conditions.



Overall, everyone of my wants / needs where met or exceeded at this office. I wish every other business gave such exceptional service as this one did for me.

Just returned from picking up my glasses at Dr. Lanning's shop -- to say I'm thrilled with every aspect of the process, from the initial eye exam to the selection of regular and sun glasses, to the general courtesy, kindness and professionalism of this group is to understate my opinion.



Every single person in the shop is tops at their respective responsibilities and I've come to trust Rhonda, Mariah and the Doc implicitly for their advice.  



Glasses are not throw-away, frivolous items for most of us, and it's imperative to choose them with care, so the input provided by this staff means so much and lessens the pressure involved.  I know when I leave their shop I have glasses that are the correct prescription, fit me properly, and are attractive on me.



The fact that all are characters and make me smile when I open their door is a happy bonus!

I made an appointment with Dr. Lanning's office because our other eye doctor was not available. Since the moment I walked in and all through the process I was very pleased with the experience and service we received. In fact I was so impressed that I have booked my own appointment to be seen.
