Changing Tides Family Services, earlier known as the Humboldt Child Care Council, is a nonprofit organization that works for the physical, emotional and developmental well-being of people. Established in 1975, it offers mental health care services for youths up to the age of 21. Changing Tides Family Services is accredited by the California Alliance of Child and Family Services. The organization provides case management, individual counseling, and life skills development services. Changing Tides Family Services also provides in-house and behavioral respite care services. Additionally, the organization conducts classes for the development of parenting skills. It offers online resources on various child care-related topics.
