i took a truck there for an inspection and the guy told me the parking break had hold the truck in drive with the motor at 2000 rpm they tried to charge me $40 to adjust the parking break the person trying to adjust it climbed out from under the truck with a 3/4 wrench and told me i needed new breaks. but there is nothing on the whole break system that uses a 3/4 wrench. what it all added up to was they was trying to get money out of me and when i caught on they got rude and obnoxious

I have been a customer of Adams Auto Service four almost five years, now. I have priced him several times against local competitors that are near my house in Bedford, yet he always provides a better estimate. In addition, Adam and his team are honest as they day is long. I would trust him to repair my mother's car; my wife's care; my car or my pastor's car. Adams never over charges and always has my vehicles ready when he says he will. And I have never, EVER, in the most probably 50+ times I have had my vehicles in his shop, had to bring it back because something didn't get fixed right. So if you want a mechanic shop that is always economical, honest, sincere and courteous, ALWAYS go to Adams. He will care for you and your car as he would his own mother's. I truly believe this. First of all, dont get there when they open at 7:00 if you want to get your car in first without having a ride home. They'll check you in at 7:00 all right, then make you wait until 8:30 when the mechanics actually arrive. I took my car in for an alignment here. I was told that I needed new tie rods, and they refused to align my car without paying for the tie rod replacement. I went to two other places to have the tie rods check, both places I trust, and both said nothing was wrong with the tie rods at all. DO NOT GO HERE. They will tell you something is wrong with your car when there isn't anything. They LIE and try to get their customers to buy stuff they do not need. BEWARE!
