Midgleys

Midgeleys retrofitted my chimney/fireplace after pelletstove removal. Neglected to cap the chimney after removing the cap that was on the chimney. Now I have birds living in the fireplace - will cost me $300-500 to remedy the problem. No apology, no discount for their failure to disclose this to me.

Went into Midgleys knowing very lttle about fireplace inserts. Our sales rep spent at least a half hour showing us all the models, advantages and disadvantages of each.
He works on Saturday and was very cordial and knowledgeable. We were set up for a estimate the very next Monday.

Way overpriced. They wanted $35 for a part available online for $3 to $9. I found another local supplier that charged a reasonable $14.

i've experienced the same service at midgleys three times.

very arrogant.

maybe midgley's only serves a certain 'type' of people.

if so, that would be called 'discrimination'.

too bad, they've got some nice stoves.

i certainly won't be going back for a fourth experience.
