This is my 'go to guy' any time I have a construction project around the house - I also recommend him to all my friends when they need to get work done.



One of the unusual things about this company is they are totally honest and know what they are doing at the bid stage. I had them quote a project about 4 months ago, but foolishly went with a slightly lower bid from another contractor (broke my own rule and went against better judgement - never base a descision on the lowest bid). The low bidder turned out to be a disaster, the project ran long and he even called me asking for more money towards the end of the project!



I called Hi-Tech Design & Construction DBA Medikbuild asking for help. Even though this wasn't his project, he provided concrete advice, suggested what I should say and do with the other disastrous contractor and basically helped me get out of a major problem. Next time I'm hiring Hi-Tech Design & Construction DBA Medikbuild

We hired Hi-Tech Design & Construction, Inc. to do a bathroom gut and renovation, including tiling, plumbing, painting, drywall and more odds/ends. We had this team completely redo the bathroom in our rowhome, and they did an amazing job. In the process of the renovation they found that one wall had additional repairs that needed to be addressed, and they worked with us to adjust the estimate and make the fixes needed. This was not just a new tub and a fresh coat of paint...the room was brought down to the studs and rebuilt, shifted the toilet location, new tub, new fixtures, tiling, etc. In addition, they built in some cool nooks/shelving into the shower stall space and was very creative/professional in the whole job. Hi-Tech Design & Construction, Inc. were one of 5 estimates that we had come through to discuss our renovation ideas, and immediately they showed the willingness to listen, work with us and take the job seriously. The entire time on the job, these guys were communicative and available to answer questions or discuss changes/updates. They always showed up on time and kept the workspace organized as the job was going on. Every interaction with Hi-Tech Design & Construction, Inc. was professional and friendly, and we would not hesitate to work with them again, and would recommend them immediately to anyone. While the renovation was happening, and after it was completed, we knew that Hi-Tech Design & Construction, Inc. were the right choice.

The guy from Hi-Tech Design & Construction DBA Medikbuild has done a few odd jobs for me, so far: repairing cracked grout in two showers, stabilizing a ceiling fan that had become unbalanced and noisy, caulking my showers, and repairing an automatic drip watering system on my deck. He's been pleasant, reliable and has done good, neat work. He's also been good at explaining the options in a clear and honest way. In a big city full of sometimes slippery contractors, it is refreshing to deal with a skilled, honest, small-town guy like he. I definitely would recommend him.

Hi-Tech Design & Construction renovated my building and I could not have been more pleased with the results. The tile work in the bathroom is flawless and I have received numerous compliments on the details in the shower. In addition, they remodeled the kitchen and created an open floor plan which is great for hosting dinners.



I requested custom paintwork in the bedroom and was stunned with the precision and advice Hi-Tech Design & Construction offered. In addition, they built a walk in closet that could not have worked out better and they walked me through it step by step. Hi-Tech Design & Construction ability to explain the construction process in non-technical terms is something I valued. They completed the project on time and I have recommended them to several people.

I've worked with a number of contractors, and Kevin restored my faith in the profession. He transformed my muddy, sloped rear yard into a place I can actually use with a deck, stairs and some strategically placed concrete retaining walls. We had some brief delays due to weather and some unforeseen complications out of his control, but he was always quick to keep me updated, and I always felt like we were on track. I actually think the delays bothered him more than they bothered me.



I was particularly pleased with his focus on the details. He would often give me options on how I'd like to finish details on things like the stairway railings. They were typically things I wouldn't have thought about and probably wouldn't have noticed until the project was complete if at all. Other contractors would just make the choice to do whatever was easiest for them to get the project done. Kevin is thinking about each step in the process well before he gets there so that all the details come together in the end. He really cares about the quality of the finished product, not just about finishing.



And if it weren't enough that he is a professional who provides a high quality service, he's also very easy to work with and a generally nice guy.
