DANGER!!! BEWARE!! I will never go back. If you are considering this program, you should first know that "Master" Nelson Monteiro is currently on probation for a DUI Hit & Run and that a judge also recently issued a restraining order against him for a domestic violence assault (December, 2015). These are documented and verifiable facts, and I suggest that consumers do their own due diligence before supporting this business--of which "Master/Professor" Monteiro is a co-owner. There may be some professions in which a person's legally documented poor character, bad judgment, and hostile, hateful, manipulative, violent actions are irrelevant to their job performance. However, I suspect that anyone who loves and respects the art of jiu-jitsu would agree that Nelson Monteiro is a disgrace to the very foundations of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and he does not represent the Gracie Barra core values or principles. He should not be around children. Find another location.
