Riverside Garden Florist

I go here to pick up potted flowers and plants for Valentines Day. I have checked many places in Emporia but always end up finding just the right thing at Riverside.

I went in today to buy some flowers for my mom as yesterday was one of the first holidays she had to experience with out her mother. The cashier didn't seem enthused about her job, there was no eye contact or attempt to make conversation. In past visits they would trim the stems evenly, wrap your flowers in your choice of tissue paper and apply decorative ribbon. This evening I take two uneven, unwrapped roses to my mother. What was supposed to be a bright and cheery gesture has turned into a half hearted attempt at brighting my mother's day. So much for "shop Emporia first".
