Good Wheels

I've had car from them for bout 3 years now and it might have high miles but it's one of the best cars I've owned and has never gave me any major problems.

This is a great place to buy a car. They where very nice and helpful. The ellwood service department is the best!!!

I can't even begin to tell you how awful this company is. When first purchasing my car, not only would the guy who I was buying the car from call me (multiple times while I was at work,) but his manager Grace would also call me to make sure he gave me the information. When I purchased my car, the interest rate is awful and accumulates daily. For instance, I owe almost $14,000 on a car that was $8,000 and is KBB valued at $2,000. When I asked if there was something that could be done about my high interest rate, since I pay on time every time and have dutifully done so since first buying my car, and since it's valued at $2,000, they simply said "no." They are not willing to work with their customers at all. I bought my car in February I believe, so it was snowy out. Once the snow thawed, I noticed a really nice rust bubble on my car, and that water was getting into my glove box causing it to rust. I did not notice until after my 30 day warranty, and once again- they would do nothing. Until recently, they did not have electronic payment options, and you either had to call in a credit card, or go in and make your payment. I would often call in, until they started requiring only one card on file, and you had to have your information (including your credit card number) written down on paper, on file with them. I did not feel comfortable with that at all. Here is the kicker- Mcelwains owns Good Wheels, your car loan comes directly from Good Wheels, so in addition to the money they have made off of your car purchase, they get all of the interest as well. All in all, I would never purchase a car from Good Wheels again. Everyone I have spoke to who has dealt with this company, feels exactly the same. Cheap cars- at high prices.
