Ideal Auto Care

Several different times I have had Russel work on my truck, each time repaired on time and for less money than the other shop. The other shop had my truck for two weeks to fix a simple switch that turns off the break lights when you left off the brakes, charged me several hundred dollars and it stopped working. Russell fixed in 15 minutes, its still fixed, and didn't charge me a dime!

This place is garbage and I wouldn’t trust these losers to fill my car with gas! Do not waste a dollar at this place they will ruin your vehicle! I’m talking cross threaded and stripped bolts! They will assemble things without putting gaskets on. And it’s obvious no one in the building knows how to use a torque or impact wrench because they stripped all my transmission crossmember bolts and I had to go behind them myself and fix it with a helicoil kit! They were hired the to replace a transmission on my vehicle and it was leaking upon leaving the shop! Do yourself a favor and avoid these monkeys at all cost!

This is absolutely the WORST shop for anything vehicle related. My Silverado went into their shop 3 times for transmission issues and after those 3 times, still not corrected. After just purchasing a Monster Transmission and putting it in ourselves, we noticed that the last transmission, the new transmission that they put in, was from a junkyard and was not rebuilt and WAS THE WRONG YEAR MODEL. The bolt holes did not match therefore several bolts were not in the trans. Russell makes excuses for his sorry excuse of being a "mechanic" and his staff is nothing but a bunch of liars. It took in all a year with my truck sitting in their shop and nothing was fixed, replaced, etc. I would recommend staying as far away from this shop as possible. Lawsuit may be pending soon!!

We can't say enough good things about these people. They've done a fantastic job on our aging cars for years, always reasonable and prompt service.
