Bart initially built the engine for my 65 Mustang. In no time at all, a head gasket and two piston rings needed to be replaced. He blamed the previous owner and charged another $3900 to fix the engine. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I let him do the work. Whatever work he actually did was done improperly and pieced together. It still even has a head gasket issue! Do not go to this business, and avoid the headache. Below is everything done improperly after his attempt at a rebuild:



1. You broke the only door key without mentioning it until I called

2. The engine consistently overheats

3. Even after a fan shroud, the engine overheats (regardless of traffic)

4. Carb tubes and spark plug cables were disconnected when delivered

5. Carb vacuum hose was ripped

5. The car stopped running and wouldn't receive fuel after engine work due to a series of electrical shorts.

6. The engine smokes the same as before.

7. A compression test shows the pistons rings were incorrectly installed.

8. Asked to change, but he left the car running way too lean

9. The car now spits out oil/black soot from the exhaust (never occurred even before)

10. The clutch linkage was missing it's connecting bolt to the equalizer bar (causing improper shifting and clutch damage)

Bart the owner, is very knowledgeable and straight forward and will not lead you on but will definitely tell you the complete costs and if you are headed the wrong way. I appreciate his honesty which some may take as not doing what they want I guess. It is the only shop I know of that will let you work alongside of the mechanics in the shop. You can go in there any time and if it’s lunch time, he’ll even buy the pizza. I have spent many hours there over last couple months working on my car and helping the mechanic make decisions as we go. In fact I purchased all the parts so there was no mark up. What other shop would let you do that? Kyle, their computer tuning guru did the tuning and Dyno at no extra cost. This place definitely has my business for years to come! I have also witnessed some of the people and their cars that posted below. Some wanted miracles done to their junk. Some would never be satisfied with anything and some were downright liars and crooks that wanted something for nothing.

Excellent place to get additional power out of my car! The staff are knowledgable, they do quality work, and they appear to know a ton how to get reliable horsepower out and planted to the ground! My car now plants you firmly in your seat!

Nothing but horror stories, DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO TOUCH YOUR MOTOR. Money hungry moron. Guy tried to tell me to have them tune it when I called and asked if they had a Wideband O2 kit. Moron! Acted all cool acting like he knew what motor I had in my Cobalt SS. "oh yea 2.2 ecotec with a turbo right." Uh no, 2.0 LSJ with a Supercharger. Immediate dislike. Don't act like you know if you don't.
