Resin Composite
Composite bonding is a quick process, typically lasting less than an hour. Compared to veneers or crowns, it is a popular choice because it does not reduce the tooth's original structure. Composite bonding is also relatively inexpensive. And finally, composite resins are available in many different shades. The shade can be chosen to match the natural color of the original tooth.
Veneers
During the initial visit, the patient and dentist discuss the process of placing veneers and the options available (e.g. types and shades of veneers). On your next visit, the dentist removes a very small layer of each tooth's outer enamel. A local anesthesia may be used but is typically not necessary. The dentist makes a mold of the teeth and then sends it to a dental lab where they create customized veneers for the teeth. The lab prepares the veneers in roughly seven to ten days. During this time, the teeth have a slightly different appearance because of the removal of the outer layer of enamel. Some patients choose to have temporary restorations placed on their teeth, but this step is usually not necessary. Once the veneers have returned from the lab, the patient makes a final dental visit. The dentist applies the veneer to the tooth using a bonding material. When exposed to light, this bonding material dries and hardens.
Crowns
A bridge is a device used to fill the space where a tooth has fallen out or been removed. A typical bridge consists of a pontic (a filler tooth) that is attached to two surrounding abutments (crowns). Once complete, this bridge structure is bonded into the mouth. Without the use of a bridge, spaces in the mouth from missing teeth can cause multiple teeth to shift, lead to occlusion (biting) and/or jaw problems and spur periodontal disease. Bridges safeguard the integrity of existing teeth and help maintain a healthy, vibrant smile.

Composite bonding is a technique used to improve the appearance of your teeth. The term composite bonding refers to any composite material, either a plastic or resin, which is bonded to an existing tooth. Bonding is ideal for fixing chipped or cracked teeth, hiding discoloration on the tooth's surface, or reducing the gaps between teeth. Whatever the specific intent, composite bonding creates more aesthetically pleasing teeth and a brighter smile. Unlike veneers or crowns, composite bonding removes little if any of the original tooth.

For those patients who require replacement dentures or need full extractions and immediate temporary dentures placed, we can accommodate your needs. In the event you need to have all your teeth removed, you will leave our office with a denture(s) in your mouth and return for follow up care the next day.

Braces
These are the most common type of braces. They are much smaller and more comfortable than those in the past. More importantly, the smaller brackets cover less area of the tooth, making it easier to monitor the state of the oral hygiene. We offer a variety of colored elastics that are changed at every appointment. The reason for this is that these elastics hold the wire that moves the teeth to the brackets. The elastics lose their stretch after a period of time and must be changed in order to be effective.
