        Carter’s is an American owned establishment located on US 1, which will make taking trips to popular attractions convenient. We are 6 miles away from beautiful New Smyrna Beach and 60 miles from Orlando. Mosquito Lagoon is just a few miles south where you can fish on the Indian River. Whether you choose a Motel Room, an Individual Free Standing Cottage, or one of our long term stay Bungalows, we will do all we can to meet your needs. We offer a friendly, clean and relaxing environment. Our goal is to keep you happy so you can relax whether you are away on business or on a much needed vacation. Cottages and Motels are air conditioned and furnished with Queen beds, microwave, refrigerator, flat screen TVs, and air conditioned rooms. We also have a laundromat and swimming pool. You are welcome to use our washing station for your boat when you come back from a long day of fishing. We have Bungalows ( rented by the month) that are fully furnished with a bedroom, full kitchen and living room.

        The room was as I expected. Kind of small but was very clean. It had two nice big beds which were big enough for my family of four. The noise from the road was constant but if you're tired, it should not matter. Iwe had a bad experience on our second night which was no fault of the motel. The customers next door to us were both drunk and fighting at 2:00 in the morning. They were beeping the horn and screaming at each other. It was only for about five minutes, but I had trouble falling back to sleep. I thought it was over until the car alarm went off again at 7:30 in the morning!! Luckily they left abruptly there after. I think they were still both drunk. The next night was quiet as the first night and was very pleasant. We did not get a chance to use the pool because it was a little cool, although it looked very clean

        Great rooms!

        I was really impressed how clean and neat the rooms are. The owners were very friendly and willing to go out of there way to get us information about the area attractions. Keep in mind this is not a Hilton, but a mom and pops motel. Don't forget to bring cash bc the do not accept credit cards. We will visit again.
