I do not recommend this doctor.



Scheduled for cataract surgery. (3 days away)I called and asked if both eyes could be done at the same time, to save about $3,000. I called as soon as they opened to discuss having both done I was told that Dr Blakemore did not like to do both, in case something went wrong. The dr was not due in for another hr, so she said she would ask him when he got in and give me a call back. They did call back after 4 this afternoon.I was told they are not allowed to do both at once. I informed them I knew of others that had both done at once and asked why his office was not allowed to. Was told she didn't know. I said I needed to make some calls to see why, new to the state and didn't know if it was a state law or another reason. I wanted to check to see why they were not allowed to do it. I received a call back, within minutes, saying the dr wanted me off the schedule altogether. I asked to speak to the dr, and he was outright rude because I was going to make some phone calls. I wanted both done at the same time, said since I wanted them done together he was not interested in doing the surgery at all.
