Dr. Merrick provides services to patients related to hand surgery or reconstructive surgery of the hand. Dr. Merrick has completed a Hand Surgery Fellowship at the renowned Kleinert & Kutz Hand Institute. During this intensive one-year Fellowship, Dr. Merrick performed thousands of procedures ranging from limb reattachments to simple nerve and arthritis procedures.

Together with our orthopedic surgery colleagues, we have developed a process of harvesting and purification of stem cells utilizing the most advanced lipofiltration system (AdiPrep). Botox
Now more than ever the industry is replete with injectable products designed to enhance aesthetics. These products range from neurotoxins such as Dysport or Botox to stop the formation of wrinkles to filler used to restore volume loss or enhance specific areas. With the addition of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and the use of harvested stem cells, Dr. Merrick offers the widest variety of injectable treatments in western Wisconsin. Together with Mary Rosen, RN and Jessica Joles, FNP-C, Dr. Merrick’s team has the most combined injection experience in the area.
Liposuction
The process involves harvesting peri-umbilical fat using a minor liposuction technique, performed by Dr. Merrick, a board-certified plastic surgeon. The fat is then ultra-purified using a cutting edge lipofiltration system performed by our perfusionist, Mr. Scott Brown. Our skilled nursing team will then obtain a small sample of blood which will be further purified, and the platelet component is mixed with the stem cells. Finally, either Dr. Austin Crow, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, or Dr. Merrick, a fellowship trained hand surgeon, will inject the joints the patient desires treatment for.
