Thank you for considering Pets R My Passion to care for a valued member of your family. As the pet-care industry grows, it is important that pet owners are even more prudent than ever when selecting a pet sitter. I am a pet-care professional and I maintain insurance and bonding. This is important to know when choosing a sitter as it covers damage to property in my care, custody and control, including your pets. This document is available for viewing during our interview. This coverage – and the increased peace-of-mind it brings are not available when a neighbor, family member or ‘kid down the street’ takes care of your pet. I will also show you proof of a clean criminal history. This is important when you are giving your house key to someone and entrusting him or her with the care of your pet. References and/or reviews are available when requested. Primary services that I offer are; Dog walks – During your busy workweek, you may find that your pet needs some extra exercise. A brisk walk, fresh air or a play session can break the monotony of the day. Less boredom and more exercise, equals decreased potential for destructive behavior such as chewing, excessive barking or inappropriate soiling. During my visit to your home, I will take care of all of your pets’ essential needs; Food and fresh water, walk, playtime and clean up. Your pets’ species and size will dictate the amount of time chosen and pricing. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish, small mammals and reptiles. For dogs - An hour of service is $25. A half hour is $15. Additional services are available and there are additional fees for multiple pets and mileage beyond a 20-mile radius from my home. In-Your-Home, Overnight Pet Care – My service will include continuing the routine that your pet is accustomed to, feeding, plant watering, mail and newspaper collection, email or text updates and the increased security of having your home observed and visited by a bonded and insured pet care provider. When I meet with you, together we will determine the number of visits that are needed during the day and any other services you may require during your absence. I will then stay in your home overnight, from about 9 pm to 7 am. I vary the timing of my visits slightly when visiting. I am not only your eyes and ears while you are away; I am an animal lover that will treat your pet as my own. I am a deterrent to criminals considering entering your home. I can alert you to issues in your home, leaks, electrical outages, etc, contact you and be in place to help correct the problem in your absence. This service is $60 per day. . The added benefits however are; • Pets are happier and experience less stress at home. • Diet and exercise routines are uninterrupted. • Travel trauma for both owner and pet is eliminated. • Pet's exposure to illness is minimized.
