The Law Offices of Clarissa Halks

I was referred to Clarrisa by another attorney who could not handle my case at the time because she was on maternity leave. After speaking with Clarrisa for the first time, I was somewhat convinced that she would represent me well. She seemed to be very knowledgeable about my case and made me feel as though she really wanted to help me. I've read a couple of the other reviews which stated that she returned phone calls and was always available; not for me. Over the past month or so, I have been calling and texting Clarissa and she would go days without responding. Smh. It was extremely frustrating because I trusted that she would keep her word after she told me to contact her if I need her. I am truly disappointed because I needed her to not only be my attorney but a listening hear and someone whom I can rely on.

Clarissa Halks handled my divorce last year. I highly recommend her! I worked with a different divorce attorney at one of the "big name" firms, didn't get much for the $$$$$ that I paid upfront, and little communication from them. Mrs. Halks kept in communication with me, made it SO easy, and was very affordable. She is ethical and nonjudgmental, and I highly recommend her!

I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Halks. She was incredibly kind and patient with me during a very emotional time in my life. She offered her personal cell phone number, invited me to call her at any time if I had questions or problems and better yet, actually answered or promptly returned my call when I took her up on that offer! There are not enough attorneys like her out there. If you need help on a case, she is the attorney you need to call.
