Buy Buy Baby

We had a terrible experience trying to return an Inglesina fast table chair to the store at 5430 New Hope Commons. The gift receipt did not have a price on it as gift receipts do not have a listed price) and the store clerk, Demauria told my husband she had no way of locating the price. He looked it up on his phone and told her what the price was and she said it was likely discounted at buy buy baby and despite providing her with a gift receipt she made a big fuss and wasted over half an hour of his time. When he asked to speak to the store manager (Chris) he heard her telling the store manager in a whisper over the phone that since the gift receipt did not have a price they could give us store credit for 20% less. I then located the email receipt with the full price that my friend had sent me when the item was purchased and then the manager and clerk tried to lie to us that they could not refund us the price paid as they no longer carried the item. We found the item listed on the buy buy baby website and showed it to them and after 45 minutes we were grudgingly given a gift receipt. When my husband said he was going to complain for the inconvenience they said 'well its inconvenient for us too trying to return this item'. We will never buy anything from this store or any buy buy baby given the experience with the staff rudeness and lies at the Durham store.
